Prof. Uriel Reichman founded Reichman University (RUNI), Israel’s first private university, with a mission to build more than a university – to build a place where entrepreneurs are created.
Over the years, Reichman University became a global hub for innovation, bringing together students from 91 countries, innovation labs, accelerators, and Israel’s only academic school dedicated to entrepreneurship.

Going forward, Prof. Yossi Maaravi co-founded the Adelson School of Entrepreneurship, strengthening the university’s mission to deliver innovation and practical experience to entrepreneurs.
More than a decade forward, hundreds of startups emerged from Reichman University, and the opportunity to build a venture capital fund connected to the university came along. In 2023, Dr. Maaravi initiated RUNI Ventures, an early-stage fund that invests in the next generation of founders.

Then, Hila Goldman-Aslan joined RUNI Ventures as Managing Partner, bringing her journey back to where it first began. She first walked the halls of Reichman University as a student, and later went on to build three startups, leading one to a successful exit and between investing in startups and VCs.
Today, her two decades as a founder and investor is shaping the fund’s activity, from startup investment to hands-on support of the fund’s portfolio founders.

Startups created
RUNI Ventures backs exceptional founders building tech companies across sectors.
While not limited to alumni, the Reichman DNA runs deep across our portfolio. In the majority of our portfolio startups, at least one founder or co-investor is a Reichman University alumnus.
